SankalpTaru is delighted to announce our selection as an Actor for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030, highlighting our commitment to sustainability. We are excited about the potential for significant impact and the collaborative opportunities this partnership and platform offer as we work towards ecosystem restoration.

SankalpTaru was one of the 12 winners in the Top Innovator by UpLink - World Economic Forum (WEF) for the Trillion Trees: Restoration at Scale Challenge, out of 158 entries received. UpLink, a World Economic Forum platform, connects entrepreneurs with investors, corporate partners, experts, and more, fostering innovation and collaboration. We will now have access to a range of stakeholders from the WEF, enhancing our afforestation efforts.

SankalpTaru received a Special Mention for our noteworthy contributions to Digital Innovation fueled by blockchain in the Environment and Climate Change category at the esteemed 8th e-North East Award 2023! Since 2010, the e-North East Award has been dedicated to scouting, identifying, honoring, and recognizing exemplary digital innovations and solutions for sustainable development in the North East India Region.

SankalpTaru Foundation was recognized as a Sustainability Champion at the prestigious Sustainability 100+ Award, under the initiative 'Together For A Sustainable Future' by AB InBev India and Network 18.

The Mahindra Rise Sustainability Champion Awards is an initiative by Mahindra Auto to showcase change makers in the field of sustainability across categories Clean Air, Clean Energy, Green Mobility and Clean Water in line with the key focus aspects of, ‘Greening Ourselves’, ‘Decarbonising our Industry’ & ‘Rejuvenating Nature’. Exhibiting the extraordinary commitment and a decade of executing phenomenal programs in the field of environmental sustainability through his platform, Apurva Bhandari, Founder and CEO of SankalpTaru Foundation was awarded the Mahindra Rise Sustainability Champion Award 2022 in the category- Clean Air.

Exhibiting our excellence, labour and knee-deep work throughout so many years secured us an award for Top Best 20 NGOs in the Indian CSR Awards 2022.

Sharing the stage with great honorariums from diverse backgrounds, SankalpTaru received recognition for the social good and environmental benefiting works over the years. It was awarded by the Agriculture minister of Uttarakhand, Subodh Uniyal and by great musicians, Narendra Singh Negi and PritamBhartwan.

Years of creating apple villages in the extreme temperatures of Leh-Ladakh, SankalpTaru has been consistent tackling the water shortages and has been connecting with countless farmers across the region. For the same, SankalpTaru was felicitated by His Holiness Drigung Skybgon Chaychang Rimpoche and Lt. Governor & MP, Ladakh UT Shri Radha Krishna Mathur.
